Entries for last week's prompt:
:thumb687309532:
Hello, ! It shouldn't be Scribe here, but because I completely goofed and forgot to tell the next member of the prompt team that they were up for this week, I'm here for an impromptu replacement.
...I solemnly swear I will never make another pun ever again.
But for this week's prompt, let's try and think about overcoming a fear. It's one thing to be afraid, but facing it is never easy. It could be climbing to the tallest mountain, petting a snake, letting a spider crawl up your leg, or maybe confronting past trauma so it will no longer scar you. As always, the choice is yours.
All prompt submissions go here: thewriteplace.deviantart.com/g…
A new prompt is uploaded every Monday, but you are free to write for previous prompts and submit your work.
Have a great week, folks!

All Week LongSunday rises, like the dawn
Monday trudges on and on
Tuesday wakes up with a fright
Wednesday guides us with it's light
Thursday is an honest beast
Friday's restful, at it's least
Saturday's a joyous throng
And those are the days, all week long

A Difficult Announcement
This is Scribe here, and it's not easy to say this, but I'm afraid I have a tough decision to make.
The prompts here have never been consistent, because my heart has never fully been in it. If I'm going to keep doing it half-heartedly out of duty, I shouldn't do it. That's why I'm going to inform the admin of my decision to step down and do my part to find a successor or successors so prompts can continue.
Thank you all for your time and entries together. I'll see you around in the comments section of your work! :)

The Write Inspiration: 07.31.2017: Forgiveness
No prompt submissions for this previous week's prompt. :B
THIS WEEK'S PROMPT:
It can be hard to forgive, and at times one may wonder if they should even forgive at all. Write of a conflict with forgiving, or perhaps the feeling that being forgiven can bring. How does it feel to be pardoned, whether the sin be small or heavy? What can simply saying "I forgive you" do for the instigator and their victim/victims?
Just as a reminder, you can still write for prompts after the week has elapsed, so if you want to work on something really good and don't have time for it after the week has gone by, don't worry. If you have any questions, don't hesi

THIS WEEK'S PROMPT:
A fiery abyss, filled with the souls of the damned, or perhaps just an underground city. Maybe you'll draw from ancient mythology, or perhaps the underworld will be for a world of your own. What is created below our feet is all up to you.
Just as a reminder, you can still write for prompts after the week has elapsed, so if you want to work on something really good and don't have time for it after the week has gone by, don't worry. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

THIS WEEK'S PROMPT:
What is it that keeps a person moving? When one seems best off giving in and staying down, what pulls them back up? Write about what drives you, or your characters, or someone you know. Take that instinct, that thing which keeps us moving, and give it life in writing.
Just as a reminder, you can still write for prompts after the week has elapsed, so if you want to work on something really good and don't have time for it after the week has gone by, don't worry. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to a
